Local Chiropractor; What to Know for Your First Visit

A chiropractor is a professional who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of spine-related problems. They are also trained to pinpoint any postural or muscular issues that may occur due to your chiropractic condition. If you have been experiencing back pain for an extended period, you must visit with one, so they can determine if chiropractic care will be beneficial for your condition. Learn more here.

If you have been experiencing pain that has not gone away, chiropractic care may be the answer. Chiropractors are a great option for those who want to avoid medication and surgery but still get relief from their pain. This article will help you learn about chiropractors and what to expect when you go in for your first visit. Learn more about The Ultimate Guide to Your Chiropractic Needs.

What to know for your first visit? The first step is a consultation with one of our chiropractors. This will take about 30 minutes and involve answering some questions and the doctor's hands-on examination. There are no appointments necessary--just come by during opening hours! After this initial meeting, we'll be able to determine if you need any diagnostic imaging or other special tests before treatment; if not, then it's usually time for adjustments that could last 20 minutes each session (or more). Adjustments can also help relieve pain caused by headaches, chiropractic stroke, spinal cord compression, and more.

If during these initial visits it becomes clear that there are still some unresolved back or neck issues preventing someone from living their life fully--we can offer a plan for follow-up care in conjunction with medication or chiropractic treatment.
