Rose Run Greenway and Park in New Albany, Ohio

New Albany is only 13 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. If you are visiting the area, you definitely need to experience Rose Run Park. Information can be found here.

Leisure Trails

The most inventive thing about Rose Run Park is the way you can hook up to a huge variety of trails. Every day you can invent a new trail for yourself. You can go by the creek one day, and another day walk by the child nature play area. The next day you can hike by the school campus along Dublin-Granville Road. See here for information about Outdoor Beauty and Fun in Westerville, Ohio.

Marx Library Garden

The City of Columbus Library has a branch in New Albany and Rose Run Park borders the back of the building. There you will find benches to sit and read the book you just checked out, or have a family picnic.

Velo Loop and Bike Hub

Part of the Leisure Trails is a 5-mile loop reserved for bike riding called the Velo Loop. To help out all the bike riders, just east of the Raines Crossing bridge is a Bike Hub. It’s open for everyone to fill their water bottles and bike riders can make repairs to their bikes to get them going. They can even inflate their tires while they are there.
