Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a conservatory, botanical garden, and event venue located in Columbus, Ohio. The facility is home to a wide variety of plant life, including flowers, trees, and cacti. In addition to its plant collection, the conservatory houses several art exhibitions and events throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy walking through the gardens, taking in the sights and smells of the plants, and learning about the different species on display. The conservatory was founded in 1895 by Columbus businessman Benjamin Franklin Fackler. Fackler originally envisioned the space as a public park open to all city residents. However, over time, he began to develop the park into a more formal botanical garden. Today, the conservatory is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions.
