Nearby is Schiller Park, a natural oasis in the middle of the city, boasting a lake, waterfall, and sprawling lawns perfect for picnicking or sunbathing. Further to the west is the enormous Scioto Mile, a scenic riverside park system that once comprised part of the Olentangy River floodplain.
